Got a nice pair of matched NOS 6386 sitting on the shelf, looking for a way to put them into good use.

Talking meters: In many of my previous builds, I had IMS make me a Simpson Meter in the preferred size and style (an desired mA rating of course). Do you guys happen to have a better suggestion? Surplussales.com is always nice for specialities, but they don´t stock a nice looking 200 mA AC meter that would fit the "style".

Bought mine from eBay. They turn up quite often. Just search for Simpson model 27. Mine are 1mA full scale. I hope they'll work.

I sourced most of the parts for my stereo unit, only waiting for the Mouser Package.

Gonna use this Mains Trafo:

The Transformers from Don Audio is not beefy enough for a stereo unit. The tubes in a mono channel draw around 2,5 A. For a stereo unit you'll need at least 6A or more. Have a look at tube town, they have quite beefy transformers. I suggest to use 6,3VAC for a stereo unit and leave the psu rail for heater unstuffed.
