What transformers - OEP or Lundahl?

Make sure that your generator impedance will drive the input transformer well (this is the most common measurement problem when checking transformer input micamps)

Have you tried turning the power transformers to the point of lowest inteference?

Maybe a bit of shielding between power transformers and frontpanel controls?
